A free fire-control calculator for WARDOGS gunners. It turns two sets of map coordinates into a bearing and a range, and it does it entirely inside your browser.
A single-purpose tool for indirect fire: hitting something you cannot see, from map coordinates alone. You give it where your gun is and where the target is; it gives you the direction to turn and the range to dial.
There is no account, no sign-up and no paywall. Open it and use it.
Your data
The calculator makes no network calls after it loads. Your gun position, calibration points, profiles and map backdrop live in your own browser's storage, on that device, and are never sent anywhere.
Because it is a progressive web app served over HTTPS, you can install it to a phone home screen and it will keep working with no signal at all.
Clearing your browser data clears your profiles too. Use SET > EXPORT / IMPORT to keep a backup.
The field board
The board is the one part of this site that stores anything on a server, and it stores as little as possible:
- Your callsign and message, because that is the point of a board.
- A one-way hash used only to rate-limit posting. Your IP address is not stored — the hash cannot be turned back into an address.
No cookies for tracking, no analytics, no third-party scripts anywhere on this site.
Posts are public and appear immediately. Links are rejected outright, which is what keeps the board free of spam without anyone having to police it. Anything abusive gets removed.
What this site does not claim to know
There are no weapon stat tables here, and that is deliberate. Publishing muzzle velocities or per-weapon range tables that nobody has verified would produce confident-looking numbers that miss — which is worse than publishing nothing.
The only range data this tool trusts is what you measure off your own sight. That is what the CAL screen is for, and it is why ballistic extrapolation is off by default.
One map scale has been confirmed against an in-game grid (Bakurani, 100 m per coordinate unit). Every other map is unverified, and the reference page says so plainly rather than guessing.
Not affiliated
This is an unofficial, fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the developers or publisher of WARDOGS. All game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
The app ships without a background image for the same reason: the screenshot used during development is the publisher's artwork, and it is not the author's to redistribute. Load your own under SET > BACKDROP.
